Estimates and uniqueness for boundary blow-up solutions of p-Laplace equations

Abstract:
We investigate boundary blow-up solutions of the p-Laplace equation $\Delta_p u=f(u)$, $p>1$, in a bounded smooth domain $\Omega\subset R^N$. Under appropriate conditions on the growth of $f(t)$ as $t$ approaches infinity, we find an estimate of the solution $u(x)$ as $x$ approaches $\partial\Omega$, and a uniqueness result.
