Foreword This conference on Partial Differential Equations and its Applications was held at Universite Toulouse 1 (UT1) in Toulouse, France, to honor the scientific contributions of Professor Jacqueline Fleckinger to this subject. Nineteen invited lectures, presented over two days, covered a number of "hot topics" of current research in Partial Differential Equations, including asymptotic distribution of eigenvalues of an elliptic operator on a domain with fractal boundary (e.g. a "snowflake"), positive solutions to (systems of) elliptic and parabolic partial differential equations, both, regular and degenerate (or singular), and and a number of other topics with applications in Mathematical Physics, involving e.g. the Schroedinger and p-Laplace operators.
The organizing committee consisted of: Benedicte Alziary (coordinator), Jacques Giacomoni, Ian Schindler, and Peter Takac.
Some of the papers presented at the conference appear in the conference proceedings. They reflect the authors' contribution to the conference. Please see the table of contents.
